·         Comments relating to visual aesthetic and

Reference to influences with clear explanation of why they are an influence

Budgeting And Production Research

Task 3

Produce a report & a budget that outlines the specific requirements for a music video production with supporting research & staff and equipment costs:

·         Describe what job roles will need staffing (director, camera person, sound recording, lighting) and be able to define the job responsibilities of that role.

·         Equipment needed and daily costs (researched with links and equipment hire company quotes)

Produce a budget expenditure spread sheet in Excel that outlines expenditure to a budget of £4000 and what this will be spent on.

These are a number of slideshows showing mood boards i have created to present my idea's for the music video i am preparing to create. Showing different artists from the RnB genre, and different stereotypical settings and locations used in these type's of music video's.

This is a Tagxedo image i created, using Beyonce's well known logo for her brand. I have chosen to use this image as it represent's Beyonce on a whole, a successful musician who only needs a simple capital B to recognize who she is. Beyonce is known to be the Queen of RnB, and therefor i have used an image related to her to represent my music video idea's. Within the Beyonce logo i have connected the official Beyonce webpage, which has provided me with words directly from this webpage. Including song titles, album titles and world tours. 

This is a Tagxedo image i created, using Rihanna's logo used for her latest album named unapologetic.  I have chosen to use this image as it's shape always me to present words related to Rihanna, such as some of her successful songs, an artists she has previously collaborated with.  Rihanna is the diva of RnB rap, very similar to Beyonce. Her albums have sold world wide along with her tours. Within this image i have typed many names of her songs and album names along with her manager Jay Z. This image will help me remember some of Rihanna's music videos, and how i will use some of the elements shown in her videos. 

This is a Tagxedo image i created, using an image of Kanye West's upper body. I have chose to use this imagine as he is an artist representing Rap, Hip Hop music which i would like my music video to base upon. I have chosen to use this particular image as it is well known, and easy to display relevant words. I have typed words related to Kanye, such as his song titles, album titles and words from his official webpage. Also i have chosen to use a black background, as the stereotypical ethnicity group of Rap artists are black. Kanye West is a good artist to use as part of my research as he is extremely successful and well known for his performance and narrative music video's.

Music Video Analysis

Task 1

Produce a comprehensive word-processed or voice recorded analysis of three music videos.

Using subject specific terminology, you must gather moving images examples by music genre (type of music video) and comment on how styles, techniques and conventions have been used to appeal to target audiences.

You must also comprehensively explain in your analysis what purpose(s) your music video examples will serve for artists and audiences.

Your examples must be from a range of music genres.

You must include video examples AND still images from your chosen films to help illustrate your observations.
